What is ASESMA

The African School series on Electronic Structure Methods and Applications (ASESMA) is planned on a biennial basis from 2010 to 2020. The schools provide an introduction to the theory of electronic structure, with an emphasis on the computational methods for practical calculations. The 2010 school was held at the African Institute for Mathematical sciences (AIMS), Muizenberg, Cape Town, South Africa. The 2012 school was held at Chepkoilel University College, Eldoret, Kenya, from May 28 to June 8.
